The strip and capture method immediately collects the removed particles minimizing the suspended debris in the air during the process. This not only provides a cleaner working environment but it drastically reduces job time as the waste is captured for disposal at the time of removal. In addition, there is a minimum of particulate matter released into the room to settle on surfaces or furnishings.

This process is also suitable for dry vacuuming and prevacuuming. It is an effective technique for use in restoration projects or situations requiring the removal of dry materials such as sand or soot and ash

PAD AND RECOAT

Prochem's Pad and Recoat System introduces a fast and efficient method for stripping wood floors of old and worn surface layers for recoating. The system consists of an electric rotary stripper/buffer and a centrifugal separation tank for collection of the removed material.

The Recoat Buffer uses a 16 inch diameter abrasive pad spinning at 175 RPM to remove the surface coating. The removed material is immediately captured by the vacuum inlets on the buffer housing (connected to an external vacuum source) and delivered to the centrifugal separator tank. The separator spins the incoming air and debris causing the heavier particles to fall to the bottom of the tank for collection and disposal. The partially cleaned air then passes through an industrial-duty cartridge filter before it is exhausted.
