The new MAXX 550 is one of the most powerful slide-in units made for standard van applications. The MAXX 550 is a top-end, full-featured machine that incorporates several HydraMaster new-generation technologies.

The platform of the MAXX 550 is an entirely new ultra-rigid stainless steel chassis. A 52HP water-cooled Ford engine powers the unit. This 4-cylinder, cast iron engine has been refined in automobile applications throughout the world and has proven to be a highly reliable, long-life power plant.

Produced by customized Roots 56 blower, the MAXX 550's massive airflow capability provides ample power to run multiple cleaning wands and is engineered with advanced sound reduction technology. A three-position, adjustable speed control allows the operator to select the airflow setting appropriate for the job, up to 550 CFM.

The high-efficiency heating system of the MAXX 550 is capable of high-heat output for sustained two-wand cleaning and incorporates a full-time catalytic exhaust system.

Additional features on the MAXX 550 are a fullconsole stainless steel drip pan, an LED diagnostic panel, full pressure washing capability, easy-service design features, a large 100 gallon recovery tank and an exciting new-technology Auto Pump-Out system capable of keeping up during flood damage work.
